If you don’t ask, you don’t get.
A lot of my clients feel defeated. Shut out of conversations, opportunities, choices, and experiences. When I probe into these feelings of defeat, I find that a lot of times they haven’t even asked for what they want.
If you don’t ask, you don’t get! Never assume the answer is ‘no’. (And really, being told ’no’ is the worst thing that could happen, and that’s not that bad.)
Think about it this way: if you don’t ask, the answer is ALWAYS ‘no’.
ALWAYS ASK. At the very least it is a starting point for negotiation.
