Mindfulness and Dating
Mindfulness refers to one’s nonjudgmental awareness and full attention in the present moment. People who practice mindfulness tend to be less anxious, less depressed, less impulsive and have higher self esteem.
You may ask what this has to do with dating. Women are generally more mindful than men and they are more attracted to a man that is mindful.
When on a first date more mindful people are less nervous and more present. They aren’t as worried about what the other person is thinking about them.This translates to self confidence, which is always attractive.
The great thing is that mindfulness is not a fixed trait!! It can be learned and practiced, so anyone can work on it and become more self confident!
